Privacy Policy
This is the privacy policy for duskandlane.com, run by Dusk & Lane. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Your email address — only if you give it to us. If you sign up for our 10%-off code, we store your email on our own server and in Mailchimp (our email service provider) so we can send you the code and occasional updates about new designs. That's the only form on the site.
- Basic click analytics. When you click a "Buy on Etsy" link, we log the time, which page the click came from, and your browser's user-agent string on our own server. This is first-party only — we use it to see which pages work. We run no advertising trackers, no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, and we do not sell or share this data with anyone.
Cookies and local storage
Our site sets no tracking cookies. We use one small browser localStorage entry to remember that you closed the signup popup, so we don't show it again for 30 days. It never leaves your browser. Our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly-necessary technical cookies (for security and bot protection) that are required for the site to work; these do not track you across other sites.
Where purchases happen
We don't process payments on this site. All purchases happen on Etsy, under Etsy's privacy policy. We never see your payment details.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you (your email and click logs, if identifiable), or to unsubscribe at any time. Email [email protected] and we will act on your request within 30 days. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of under CCPA's "do not sell" provision — but the request email works for any CCPA or GDPR right, including access, deletion, correction, and portability. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
